Wow. That situation with the teacher (2nd story) is really sad. I can see why "cognitive dissonance" would set it. We all wish our schools and teachers were terrific because it's hard to really deal with how much work needs to be done once you recognize the sad reality.

Anyone heard yet whether this potential child molester has been fired by Richland One? They've so far refused to comment on disciplinary actions that they may take, but the article said she was still employed at time of writing. Memo to Richland One: This, is a TEST! If this woman is found guilty, you had darn well better fire her a$$ and assist in any way you can with ensuring that she gets major jail time. Not that you really have much anyway, but any credibility you might have had will be completely obliterated if you appear in any way to help this criminal, if indeed she is convicted. People are watching. People who would like a reason to believe in you.

Don't count on The State "mulletwrapper" to demand equitable justice for this woman. Fact is, women, in the eyes of the editors of The State, always get a hall pass. That is, they are always considered victims and therefore presumed guiltless, without questioning by those at The State.

Thus this female pervert child molester will be given the benefit of the doubt. Can you imagine what those assholes at The State would be saying if the sexes were reversed? If a forty something year old man got caught with a 14 year old girl, they would demand his head (or maybe some other part of his anatomy).

The funny thing is that The State would be the first to assert and demand equal rights for women. But where are these hacks when it comes to equal accountability for women?
